Abstract

The potential of the MENA region, which is the cradle of the development of world civilization, is no exception, as evidenced by numerous historical artifacts combined with the modern way of life. The natural and cultural values of the region are attractive to different target groups, but have not yet been fully developed, unusable or irretrievably destroyed. Structural problems in tourism policy and the economy exacerbate the situation in many countries of the region. The study aims to quantitatively and qualitatively assess the dependence of the Middle East individual tourist markets on global political events based on a more in-depth study of the regional specifics. Using the method of bivariate correlation regression, the material presented models of the dependence of tourist visits on the level of political stability in neighboring countries, thanks to which the reader can form a clear picture of the structure of income and expenditures of the tourism industry in the countries of the region. The obtained indicators can become the basis for the development of a set of measures for the restoration and strategic development of the tourism industry in the region.
