El Consejo editorial de Journal of Tourism Analysis: Revista de Análisis Turístico (JTA), con el fin de agilizar la presentación, evaluación y publicación de los trabajos remitidos, ha establecido una serie de orientaciones para los autores. Por favor, lea detenidamente la información que se facilita y atienda cuidadosamente los aspectos que se indican.
La publicación en Journal of Tourism Analysis: Revista de Análisis Turístico (JTA) no implica coste para el autor/es.
Para poder efectuar el envío de los trabajos a la revista, es necesario registrarse previamente e identificarse como autor y lector en el sitio web de la revista. https://analisis-turistico.aecit.org/index.php/AECIT/index
Los autores que remiten trabajos para su posible publicación en Journal of Tourism Analysis: Revista de Análisis Turístico (JTA) deberán verificar previamente que el texto enviado se atiene a las siguientes normas:
- Los trabajos estarán escritos en castellano o inglés. Cuando el artículo haya sido aceptado el autor/es presentarán un resumen amplio del mismo —entre 3 y 5 páginas (máx. 21.000 caracteres con espacios incluidos) y siguiendo la tipología de texto indicada— íntegramente en inglés (o en castellano, para aquellos trabajos presentados originalmente en inglés) que se editará al final de la revista.
- Los trabajos han de remitirse de acuerdo al formato que se establece en la plantilla.
- Serán trabajos teóricos o empíricos originales, completos y desarrollados. Se primarán aquellos con alto nivel de originalidad en su enfoque, así como los que resulten novedosos en cuanto a los métodos de investigación aplicados o en la temática. En cualquier caso, tendrán preferencia trabajos cuyos resultados supongan un avance significativo en el conocimiento científico del turismo. Se rechazarán envíos que traten exclusivamente casuísticas locales y/o donde primen estudios eminentemente descriptivos
- Los trabajos enviados serán inéditos y no podrán ser remitidos o evaluados por otras revistas mientras se encuentren en proceso de evaluación en Journal of Tourism Analysis: Revista de Análisis Turístico (JTA).
- El nombre, filiación institucional, datos de contacto y nota biográfica del autor deben indicarse exclusivamente en el sistema informático de la revista. El documento de word en el que se consta el trabajo remitido no debe contener esta información, ha de ser anonimizado. Los datos serán suprimidos indicando *anonimizado* en todas las citas, agradecimientos, referencias y posibles menciones que de manera directa o indirecta pudieran permitir la identificación del autor/a/es. El Consejo editorial de Journal of Tourism Analysis: Revista de Análisis Turístico (JTA) verificará que los textos cumplen con esta condición. Si el artículo es finalmente aceptado para su publicación, se enviará la versión no anonimizada a la revista.
- Los autores deben prestar especial atención a las referencias bibliográficas. Es indispensable la coincidencia entre las referencias bibliográficas incluidas en el artículo y las incorporadas en los metadatos.
- Se requerirá a los autores que cumplimenten el campo de ORCID en la ficha de autores. Dado que este identificador está resultando fundamental en el ámbito de las revistas científicas convirtiéndose en un patrón para referencias, métricas, evaluaciones, etc. https://orcid.org/.
- Los artículos tendrán una extensión mínima de 7.000 palabras y máxima de 10.000, incluyendo las notas al pie, título, resúmenes, palabras clave, gráficos, tablas y bibliografía. Excepcionalmente, si el Consejo editorial considera que existen razones justificadas por el interés científico del trabajo, se podrán considerar la variación de estos límites.
Guidelines for authors
The Editorial Committee of the Journal of Tourism Analysis: Revista de Análisis Turístico (JTA), in order to expedite the presentation, evaluation and publication of the submitted papers, has established a series of guidelines for the authors. Please read the information provided carefully and pay careful attention to the aspects indicated.
Publication in the Journal of Tourism Analysis: Revista de Análisis Turístico (JTA) does not imply any cost for the author/s.
In order to send papers to the journal, it is necessary to previously register and log in yourself as author and reader on the journal's website: https://analisis-turistico.aecit.org/index.php/AECIT/index
Authors who submit papers for possible publication on Journal of Tourism Analysis: Revista de Análisis Turístico (JTA) must first verify that the text submitted complies with the following standards:
- Papers are written in Spanish or English. When the article has been accepted, the author / s will present a comprehensive summary of it —between 3 and 5 pages (max. 21,000 characters with spaces included) and following the indicated text typology— entirely in English (or in Spanish, for those papers originally submitted in English) to be edited at the end of the volume.
- Papers must be submitted according to the format established in the template.
- Papers must be original, complete and developed theoretical or empirical works. Those with a high level of originality in their approach will prevail, as well as those that are novel in terms of applied research methods or subject matter. In any case, preference will be given to papers whose results represent a significant advance in scientific knowledge of tourism. Submissions that exclusively deal with local cases and / or the eminently descriptive studies will be rejected.
- The submitted papers will be unpublished and cannot be submitted or evaluated by other journals while they are under evaluation process in Journal of Tourism Analysis: Revista de Análisis Turístico (JTA).
- The name, institutional affiliation, contact information and biographical note of the author must be indicated exclusively in the journal's submission platform. The word document containing the submitted paper must not contain this information, it must be anonymized. The data will be deleted indicating *anonymized* in all citations, acknowledgments, references and possible mentions that directly or indirectly could allow the identification of the author / s. The Editorial Committee of the Journal of Tourism Analysis: Revista de Análisis Turístico (JTA) will verify that the texts meet this condition. If the article is finally accepted for publication, the non-anonymized version will be sent to the journal.
- Authors should pay special attention to bibliographic references. The coincidence between the bibliographic references included in the article and those incorporated in the metadata is essential.
- Authors will be required to fill in the ORCID field in the authors form. Since this identifier is proving fundamental in the field of scientific journals, becoming a standard for references, metrics, evaluations, etc.https://orcid.org/.
- Articles will have a minimum length of 7000 words and a maximum of 10 000, including footnotes, title, abstracts, keywords, graphics, tables and bibliography. Exceptionally, if the Editorial Committee considers that there are justified reasons for the scientific interest of the work, variation of length limits may be considered.
