Abstract

This study underscores the urgent need to enhance the understanding of Tourist Vocation (VT) in heritage destinations like Guanajuato, emphasizing the lack of awareness among tourism stakeholders. The significance of educational initiatives, multisectoral collaboration, and effective governance for informed tourism management is highlighted. SWOT analysis identifies critical challenges and opportunities, pointing out areas such as insufficient parking and the threat of tourist congestion. The research stresses the importance of sustainable policies and strategies to preserve heritage and enhance residents' quality of life. Additionally, tools like the Delphi method and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) are employed to define variables and assess their impact, reinforcing the validity and robustness of the conclusions. This comprehensive approach provides a reliable foundation for future research and decision-making in the management of heritage tourism destinations.
